Spring Calibration: Reformer Anatomy

Two hours on reformer anatomy: what each spring does to your body, and how to pick them yourself.

Lena takes the Long Room apart, spring by spring. You will feel the same exercise on a green, a yellow and a red, learn why a lighter spring is often the harder one, and leave able to set up your own bed without waiting for a cue. Half lecture, half reformer; good after a few months of classes.

Reformer for Runners

Hips, ankles and posterior chain for runners. Bring your training questions.

Noah ran the 400 m before he taught Pilates. This is the session he wishes he had then: single-leg work for hips and ankles, footwork for calves that take the Tempelhof loop every week, and a short routine you can do before a long run. Any pace, any distance. Reformer experience helps but isn’t needed.

Teacher Training Taster

An afternoon inside our teacher training: cueing, set-ups and teaching your first block.

Thinking about teaching? Clara runs a compressed afternoon of our training: how to watch a body on the carriage, how to cue in fewer words, and how to set up eight beds in two minutes. You teach a short block to the room before the end. Eight places, because everyone gets feedback.
